Not to mention the antithetical relationship between the most disadvantaged sectors of the population and the levers of power.
Indeed, corruption scandals are evidence of a criminal exercise of politics. This not only rots the institutions, but also shattered public confidence. Metastasis of this is the materialization of social anomie.
